Oh lordy. My college's anime club showed an episode of this one meeting and although I liked what it had to offer, the sexualness of some stuff and the fact that I cannot stand hip hop music for the life of me turned me off. It just wasn't my cup of tea, and I don't think it ever will be. But if you like it, that's perfectly okay.
Helping push the world was actually the sensors. When someone swore they used record scratching (like a DJ) instead of bleeping or silence. That's some extra thinking there.
