The WE ARE HERE! Podcast-Episode 5: East of the Song and West of the Moon
In this episode of the WE ARE HERE! Podcast, I veer off into a different topic and talk about the various different times that Western songs have been used in anime, and why they work (or sometimes, why they don't).
I'm a bit irked to hear you call "How You Remind Me" bad. I'm a Nickelback fan, and I dig that song.
That being said, there was a better choice the folks in charge could have made: Commission Joan Jett to produce a cover of "How You Remind Me". And "Bad Reputation" will come along for the ride.
Though Oda was pleased with Lavigne's covers and even sent her a personal thank you letter.
