I think you're a bit hard on the theme of death. Sesame Street showed that death can be handled responsibly if done right. There may be kids who have been in car accidents or lost one or both parents, or even suffering both situations like Okko. They could benefit from learning how to deal with such situations if this movie and the source material does it right. I have to give them credit for that.

ReplyDeleteOh, for sure, I don't have a problem with kids dealing with the concept of death if it's done right. I just think it could have been done better here.
DeleteLittle nitpick here; Oikawa was a major character in Adventure 02.
