DeleteThey've gone downhill these days. You ever watched the English Dub of Kobayashi-san? Fans have posted up swafts of differences between the English and Japanese Dubs in terms of dialogue. From what I've heard, FUNimation was purchased by Sony, and that's resulted in a change in operations for FUNimation. I'm still cautiously optimistic, but as someone who's pro for retaining as much of the original dialogue as possible, it's a bit eyebrow-raising to see these kinds of changes. I've also heard there's a bit of politics at play.

I'm keeping out of that business until it clears up, because I know squat there. Also, I think you said something similar happened with Todd Haberkorn in the past. What happened?
DeleteBasically, when the Vic drama started, Todd stuck up for him...and he basically accidentally outed himself for having similar conversations with fans when he did so.
Delete...So cold...Damn, I always thought Haberkorn would have been a good choice for Manjoume if GX ever got a good English Dub. Oh, well, if such a thing happens, Tom Kenny's still there.
