Unfinished Business: Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side of Dimensions Review

Unfinished Business: Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side of Dimensions Review from Not The Hero on Vimeo.

This review is dedicated to the memory of Kazuo 'Kazuki' Takahashi, who died a hero. This month, he would have been 62 years old, and there's no better way I can think of to pay tribute to him than to talk about the last thing he fully wrote for his most successful creation. May his memory live on forever.

  1. Farewell Mr. Takahashi. Turn end...

  2. From what I've heard, Takahashi used Pyramid of Light as a basis for this film, and appropriated Seto's speech from the opening of the KC Grand Prix for the one he gives near the climax of this film.

  3. Despite his long run, Dark Bakura was the main antagonist of no more than two Arcs (Monster World & Pharoah's Memories). And from what I've heard, most fans love his long run and planning before he finally takes hold as the final main antagonist.

That being said, I do agree the Millennium Ring's role being unneeded in this film.

  4. Well done Takahashi. You're right up there alongside Shad Gaspard and Brodie Lee.
