  2. Your point on finding a happy medium in terms of editing between the theatrical version and this fan-made director's cut... Boy do I have news for you! Brannon Carty (the filmmaker behind the documentary about the adult Thomas fandom, An Unlikely Fandom) is working on an official director's cut for the film's current rightsholders. This will use more assets that were recently found by Joseph Marshall (mostly audio, so the original voice cast will finally be heard at long last), but it's current runtime is around 93 minutes without credits. It should make for a better paced film and find that happy medium you suggest. It's also worth noting that Britt Allcroft's voiceover as Lily as an adult was only temporary; the actress who played adult Lily on screen later redubbed the voiceover, and that will also be restored in this version. But as a whole, it's nice to see a review of the director's cut on its own as opposed to just covering the theatrical version and mention the post-production changes in passing (if at all)! Great video!!

  3. The Theatrical Cut is much better than the Director's Cut, but even that's not saying a lot.

  4. Could always be worse. At least you're not watching ToQger.

  5. Criminy, I didn't know Terrence Stamp passed away. But I will continue kneeling before Zod. And the funeral will be held on Otisburg.

Also, I reckon I was the only one expecting to see Chris Masters' pecs dance during the credits.
