It's my birthday again, so it's once again time to talk about a piece of
media that means a lot to me. And this year, we're going to talk about
a movie that almost got a sequel in the same year-but even without
that, it's still a new favorite of mine.
In honor of Toonami's 25th anniversary this year (albeit a few months late), I decided to put together a tribute video to this little animation block that's stuck around for way longer than people thought it would, and the stories the creators decided to tell with it, even though they didn't have to.
