  1. This isn't DC. It's Frank Miller's Heroes with Ultimate Marvel Universes's Citizens.

  2. That scene of Darkseid is from Superman: The Animated Series; the finale "Apokolips Now!" to be specific. As for a better villain for this first arc, I think Despero, Steppenwolf, heck even Desaad. Or like the original Silver Age origin with Starro The Conqueror.

  3. I agree. Batman Vs. Superman should've come out later, and Batman should have been the next film. DC should have gone with a Phase One, with at least 1 film for each member of the Justice League: Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Green Lantern, Aquaman and Martian Manhunter. Then unleash the Justice League movie, with Starro The Conqueror as the main antagonist. Move forward with more development in Phase Two, and get more experimental in Phase Three with the likes of Suicide Squad and Deathstroke (played by Ron Perlman). And along the way, build up to Darkseid, and his quest for the Anti-Life Equation.

Also, Alan Scott is da best.

  4. In The New 52, almost every Superhero had been active for around 5 years. Batman being the lone exception at 10 years. Which makes the fear of the ordinary citizens a poor addition, since they should've gotten used to the presence of heroes if so many had been around for half a decade.

And as frustrating as Batman and Green Lantern's Macho contest is annoying, its better than the idiot argument they had in ASBAR.
