Time for my first Patreon-requested two-parter, courtesy of The Animated Ambassador. In this review, I examine the various cuts of The Thief and the Cobbler, compare them, and talk about the movie's famously troubled history.

  1. I found an answer to why the King stopped trusting Zig-zag. It's clear that the news that he knew magic was a surprise to the King, thus why he turned on him.

  2. When the Thief in the Recobbled cut flies around with the leaves, it's not "1950's newsreel" music, it's because that's a song that usually has lyrics that go "Off we go, into the wild blue wonder". It's a simple musical reference to flying.
