Patreon Request: Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi Review

Patreon Request: Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi Review from Forgotten Hero on Vimeo.

Originally a Patreon request by Tiara Hall.

Well, it took a while, and me having to go to the library, but I finally got this video public.  Also, in case you haven't seen the update video, ignore that bit at the end...the next review will be Hot Wheels AcceleRacers, when I can finally edit it.

  1. Actually the one who sang the male Japanese theme of Toshiro Kai, who happens to be Puffy AmiYumi's producer at the time.

  2. If The Hi Hi Puffy Ami Yumi Show could be compared to any cartoon I'd say it was closer to the Beatles cartoon or maybe the Jackson Five show since that was about a popular band in the real world trying to get gigs ala the Monkees. Actually, Monkees might be closer given the girls and their manager occasionally ended up on weird adventures and dealing with villains. I enjoyed those shows which may be why I was able to accept and enjoy the show when I came across it.

  3. I remembered Meatballs and Spaghetti, it used be on USA's Cartoon Express back in the 80s. I used to watch that show when my family used to vacation in Rockport, TX.

  4. Damn! Would never have expected a Gitaroo Man reference from you Hero. Me and my best mate love that game. You played yoursel? And so, what are your favourite tracks and levels?

    1. I haven't played it myself, just seen gameplay. It's one of those games like Rule of Rose that I always wanted to play, but never got around to because I can't find it for a good price.

    2. If you ever do, I recommend doing quite a bit of practice, because the controls can be pretty tricky, especially on Master Mode.
