ReplyDeleteHas Fujimoto committed a major controversy? Or does his writing grip and hit you that hard? I can relate to the latter, because I read Fire Punch four or five years ago, and I still remember the feelings it left with me.
ReplyDeleteOn an unrelated note, it's nice to see Batman projects that put him in lighter environments. As plenty of folks have pointed out: Being Batman is not a symptom of Bruce's trauma, but a response to it.
The latter. He's a great writer, but he definitely makes the characters earn their...I want to say happy ending, but honestly, it's mostly likely just 'ending.'
