Originally uploaded December 31, 2010. Now, despite the low audio in this review, this is a movie that I still genuinely enjoy. Now, granted, it's not as memorable as the original special, but I still think it's a good movie, or at least better than some critics think it is.

If I remember right, "Bleeding Heart" refers to kindness, an by extension, a kind person. So, I think, the phrase "Bleeding Hearts of The World Unite" means The Grinch feels he's being guilt-tripped into helping Cindy Lou. Also, that ending reaction was perfect.

ReplyDeleteTwo things. One: I'm glad this film exists, as to me it's become a classic in it's own right. Two: I always figured that due to the Grinch keeping the tree between them and the lateness of the hour is what kept Cindy Lou from realizing it was the Grinch.
