If you were watching it at the time, chances are this interesting Cartoon Network show stuck with you. But why, then, did it basically vanish from distribution?

ReplyDeleteThe style in the show also reminds me of Al Hirschfeld. Since his caricatures are very curved in style.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the review! I liked almost all the songs in the first season.
ReplyDeleteHonestly, I think the celebrity-led show trend certainly needed to pass. Jackie Chan Adventures and this show were two notable exceptions, but everything else was rather mediocre and a clear product of their time.
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to think of celebrities that would actually make for suitable leads in their own shows, but honestly, I can't think of any, or at least any that would be suitable for a children's show.
Otherwise, yeah, this show was an underrated gem and it's a shame it hasn't received a proper release. :(
Wait...Timothy McGee? So being a Naval Investigation Agent and an author wasn't enough? DAMMIT! Dinozzo rubbed off on him!
ReplyDeleteNicely done! But there's also great news! The yeti episode's English has FINALLY been found at last, you can find it now online for yourself to see.
