I'll be honest, I thought your absence was due to difficulty in finding work. At any rate a interesting anime I found is "My Bride is a Mermaid". Think 'what if Ariel was the daughter of a mafia don instead of the king of the sea'? This is not a request, just a suggestion if you want to try it during your personal time.
I'm glad to see that you're OK. Keep up the good work, Hero.
Also, I read Domestic Girlfriend a few years back, and I quite enjoyed it, until the last Arc, where my favourite character was denied her happy ending...
I'm not much of an anime watcher or manga reader (I used to be- went through I suppose what would be called a phase of it), but this honestly sounds pretty good. I actually just bought the first volume of The Concierge at Hokkyoku Department Store, thanks to a librarian's recommendation. That "100 Girlfriends" you mentioned; I looked it up and it sounds like the most insane, zany, sitcom-y premise ever. But is it worth it?

ReplyDeleteOh, that difficulty is still there, it just wasn't the reason I was gone a long time. I'm still working on it in the background.

I'm just glad you're OK. Relatively speaking.
ReplyDeleteOn a related note, I read Domestic Girlfriend a few years ago and I quite enjoyed it. Until the ending, where my favourite character got the shaft...
I did see the conclusion coming, but that didn't soften the blow.

ReplyDeleteIf you can get past some weird jokes, I'd say it is. The series never takes itself seriously, so that helps.
