While I respect your opinion on the series, I personally think the love triangle was supposed to be Korra Mako and Asami. The eventual twist being what happened at the end.

ReplyDeleteAmon doesn't take away a person's ability to bend. He bloodbends them. Remember that bloodbending allows a waterbender to control the water of a living creature? Essentially Amon's bloodbending is so strong, that it blocks the chackra of one's chi to bend the elements. It is not exactly the same as energybending as it is the transfer of energy of one's chi to another.
Someone already explained that to me, actually.
