Originally aired September 18, 2011. If you'll notice, Arthur Knowledge of the Quest for Geekdom features prominently in this storyline--but maybe not as you know him. And there's a reason for that--see, Arthur eventually had a storyline in The Quest for Geekdom where aliens attacked the earth before he was ready to defend it, and the earth would have been destroyed were it not for a universal reboot. However, that led to the Hero and Arthur never meeting, and Arthur becoming less of a Lantern and more of a paladin character.
Despite the flaws, Ralph Bakshi's Lord of The Rings is a fascinating movie. Plus, this film is the reasons so many people know about the franchise in the first place. Including Peter Jackson. So we have this film to thank for Jackson's Trilogy.
